Ordination and Licensing Qualifications

 

     Types of ordination and licensing offered by Global Church Fellowship 
                Pastor; Pastoral Counselor; Minister of the Gospel; Bishop
            
Evangelist;
Apostle; Prophet; Teacher of the Word of God

     1.  Apply for and/or be an approved GCFI member at one of the covenant levels that offers
          ordination.

     2.  Remit a one-time application processing fee for either ordination or licensing of $250.00.

3.  Attending and supporting, with tithes and offerings, a local church in a committed way. 

4.  Recommended either by the Senior Pastor of the local church that you attend (in a letter of recommendation addressed to GCFI) or by a GCFI member. 

5.  Having fulfilled the local church’s criteria for licensing and ordination either through the local church’s Bible School or from a recognized Bible College such as History Makers School of Ministry, Central Bible College International, GSST School of Theology, etc.; and obtaining the diplomas that release its students to be ordained in a specific program. 

6.  Recommended for ordination by GSST School of Theology, History Makers School of Ministry, Central Bible College International, etc. Having completed their recommended courses of study and receiving the proper diplomas for such ordination. 

7.  Must be in agreement with the tenants of faith prescribed by Global Church Fellowship. 

 

8.  Must meet before the Review Board and be examined upon the following point for ordination and/ or licensing.

a. The genuineness of his Christian experience.

b. The reality of his divine call to the ministry.

c. The sufficiency of his spiritual, moral, emotional, and social maturity.

d. The sufficiency and correctness of his understanding of Bible content and doctrine. 

e. The adequacy of his preparation and practical abilities.

f. The acceptability of his knowledge of an allegiance to the local church and its policies and programs. 

 9. Husband and wife both must be interviewed by the review board previous to Ordination and/ or   Licensing.  

10. Upon the approval of the review board the candidate is granted initial credentials.  The candidate must maintain an acceptable ministry at the licensed level for a minimum of one (1) year and be at least 25 years of age before receiving ordination. 

11. GCFI holds the sovereign right to suspend and / or revoke license or ordination certificates because of failure to maintain biblical standards in personal or ministerial affairs, subject to review by the Executive Board of Directors. 

12. The minister and spouse must appear before the Review Board for final ordination after the Licensing period.
